Darrell Earnest joined the
Early Algebra project in January of 2000. He has
been at TERC since 1999, where he is currently a
Research Associate. In addition to Early Algebra,
he works on the Investigations Revisions project,
on which he is collaborates with a team to develop
a strand of algebra units from kindergarten through
5th grade. Darrell contributed to the Bridging
Research and Practice project at TERC to help
design the Videopaper Builder software. He
continues to explore interests in the many aspects
of elementary mathematics education, including
algebraic thinking, mathematical representations,
and the community of English language learners.
